FAQ's for Applicants

Does it cost anything to register/join?

There is no cost to join Integrity Plus. Our service is totally free to candidate.

What do I need to bring with me?

If you are only looking for permanent work we will need to see photographic identification - a passport, a driving license or an ID card, references, copies of current work related qualifications/licences, an up to date CV(preferably sent by email).
For temporary work, we will need to see all of the above, plus your National Insurance number and bank details.

I am a foreign national, do you require additional documentation?

Yes please, we will need proof of eligibility to work in the UK eg. a relevant Visa, passport or immigration documents.

Do you need to meet me in person?

Yes, we prefer to meet all of our candidates as this allows us to really get to know you and to discover your full requirements.

Is the meeting formal or informal?

Our meeting is not a formal interview it is all about getting to know you and we want you to feel relaxed and comfortable.

How long will it take?

You should allow between 30 – 40 minutes. We may ask you to undertake a number of simple interactive tests, relevant to your job search.

Where are you based?

Our office is in Donington just outside Spalding. You will find directions on our web site.

I don’t drive, can you help?

We will still need to meet you but we may be able to register you at a local job centre or use skype. Your job search will be restricted to areas covered by public transport.

What happens if I can’t send you a CV by email?

We can only accept CV’s sent by email as they are uploaded directly into our database. We will accept them by fax or mail but this may delay your registration while your CV is hand typed.

I don’t have a CV what can I do?

We do need a CV as we do not have application forms and is our clients preferred recruitment method. There are a number of places providing a CV service. Ask at your local job centre.

Do you find temporary work?

Yes, we are experts in supplying temporary workers to local companies as well as recruiting for permanent positions.

Do I get holiday pay for temporary work?

Yes, all temporary staff do receive holiday pay in line with the Government guidelines of the day and are paid on a pro rata basis.

I have a Fork lift license which is out of date, can you help?

If your license is over 3 years old you may require a refresher course. We can organise this through one of our business partners. There will be a cost for this service.

Why should I use your service?

How much do you charge?

Firstly, we only charge on success
Fees for permanent recruitment are based on a percentage of the annual salary offered.
Charges for temporary staff are based on an hourly rate dependant on the skills required.

I don’t have the time to provide health & safety training or induction to temporary staff can you help?

We understand what is important to your business and can deliver your induction procedures on your behalf.
Typically we can offer:

  • Pre-employment health questionnaire
  • Health & Safety training
  • Manual handling training
  • Literacy & numeracy testing
  • Skill testing
  • On site induction tours

Do you check the eligibility to work of Foreign Nationals?

We are licensed by the GLA and fully comply with all legislation regarding eligibility to work in the UK. We keep copies of all documents on file.

I have a current vacancy, what information do you need?

We would need to take a full job and person specification from you and we will help you prepare this if you do not already have one. Ideally we would also like to meet you and visit your premise. Other details we will need include information about your company and what you do and the salary for the role.

What is included in the cost?

  • Reference checking- we attempt to obtain a minimum of 3 years references from former employers plus:
  • Skills testing- specific to your needs
  • Candidates are fully interviewed by our consultants
  • Induction procedure – either on or off site
  • Advertising the vacancy using a variety of mediums including our own website, job boards and social media sites.
  • Short-listing of candidates
  • Temporary rates include NI, PAYE and Payroll costs exclude VAT
  • Arranging interviews

What types of people do you recruit?

We are specialists in recruitment of temporary and permanent staff across a wide spectrum of disciplines ranging from Office based roles to industrial and technical positions.

Who are your customers?

A diverse business mix of over a 100 clients, ranging from small & medium sized companies to PLC and Blue chip organisations, across professional, service, manufacturing and food sectors.

I need someone for just a few days, can you help?

We can supply temporary staff from 1 day to 1 year and beyond. We have a minimum 4 hour assignment period

How much notice do you need?

We have an extensive database of candidates actively looking for work so most temporary requirements can be supplied with less than 24 hours’ notice and CV’s for permanent positions can usually be forwarded to you the same day.
In the event that we do not have suitable candidates on our database, we will advertise immediately and inform you of suitable applicants as soon as we can.

I have a permanent vacancy but want to “try someone out” first, can you help?

Yes – many companies can see the value of this service called “Temp to Perm” We supply a person on a temporary basis for an open ended period. Once they have worked with you for a while, you can decide if they are the person you would like to work in your company permanently. This is often an excellent way of recruiting and takes away the stress and hassle of interviews.
